five years.....
the events of september 11, 2001 still seem extremely vivid, like they happened last week......even as a canadian boy living/working in the USA, my reaction was still shock, disbelief, horror and ultimately anguish for the thousands who lost their lives in these acts of terrorism.....
the goal was obviously met, because the entire country was gripped with fear......terrorized about where the next attack might take place......
my anguish continues to this day, as brave military men and women continue to lose their lives in wars that should have never been started......but that's obviously a whole separate blog entry.
today we remember the lives lost in new york city, the pentagon and that lonely field in pennsylvania 5 years ago.
we will never forget.
