in this case, i was living and working in dallas, texas, having the most incredible summer of my life.

i was checking out the usual music news websites at work and the news came out that jeff buckley was dead.

not only was jeff dead, but how it all happened was just heartbreaking.

while in memphis recording his second album, jeff decided to cool off by jumping into the mississippi river. before long, the current had pulled him under and jeff was gone.
